Always tip the cleaners where ever I am in the world. It’s a thankless task although most people are clean and tidy there are lots who are not. We stayed in Disney last year as we passed one of the rooms that had been occupied for a long weekend the cleaners were just going in and you could see it was a tip, bottles, cans boxes and the bedding thrown all over the room. Some people do not respect he environment or those who clean up after them. It’s not about the money the tip is a way of saying Thank You!

It isn't a thankless task, it is at Disney a relatively well paid unskilled job. Most people do not get tipped for doing their jobs.

Most jobs are thankless tasks that's why the people doing them get paid

Unpaid Thankless tasks... person doing voluntary litter picking. Shaking a collecting tin for charity in all weathers. Going out at night feeding the homeless or taking in rescue animals. All unpaid thankless tasks

Anyone putting their hand down a toilet that strangers have been using deserves a couple of extra quid imo. It maybe unskilled but it’s a very important job.

We usually leave what change we had left at the end of the holiday for the mousekeepers.

Nursing for thirty years. My hands have been in places that would make your toes curl. Part of the job, don’t expect a tip and not allowed anyway.

It’s really down to personal choice

We have already decided to opt out of Mousekeeping this year as we managed to keep a Villa nice and tidy last year i,m sure we can manage one room and a bathroom!

If I could tip you too I would as nurses do a sterling job and don’t get paid enough for what you guys have to do! My sil has been a nurse for over 25 years and some of her stories make me cringe. My comment wasn’t a dig at anyone who deals with that kind of thing in other walks of life, I was just saying about cleaners at WDW.
