Stollen!
Bought a marzipan one last weekend from Lidl for £1.99 and, just as last year, it's gorgeous and moist - so will be getting another one for Christmas - or perhaps two!
I also get the 'speckulas' biscuits (all spice flavour) - lovely. They are also very good for the spiced gingerbread hearts with apricot flavoring covered in chocolate and gingerbread houses. I expect Aldi will do much the same (being another German company). Rather non-seasonal - the balcon geraniums I bought from Lidls in May are STILL flowering! (we haven't yet had an overnight frost). Brilliant value for money - box of 6 for £3.99 or 3 boxes for £10. Sainbury's have (until Sunday I think) 25% off its' Tu range - men and women, they have nice soft leather gloves and the men's wallets/key rings would be good stocking fillers. Ruth |

Thanks for the heads up.
They sound lovely. M & S have some food gift sets on offer at half price. I got a "Ginger glow" one for a ginger lover, it contained ginger wine, choc ginger biscuits, ginger and whisky marmalade and dark chocolate gingers. Normal price £15 offer price £7.50.

don't forget all the Soap and Glory gifts 3 for 2 in Boots, there were some lovley gift boxes in there today, and a great handwash and cream combo for £8.00 in a holder, which would make a fantastic pressie...
if you get the third free that would be 3 x teachers pressies at just over a fiver each...a bargain ! |

was just going to suggest soap and glory from boots myself all there gift sets are absolutly beautiful this year! perfect for teens or girl friends or even younger girls who love pink girly things! and there on 3 for 2 which is extremely good value! if you've got to get some girly pressies, i mean the gift sets in themselves are fab value on there own anyway... and the products are fantastic there in-expensive but you wouldnt think it...i think the fact they've won beauty award after beauty award this year is testimony enough for that.
iv already bought and set aside the ones im getting for christmas off my dad! as i missed out last year when all the good sets sold out (the hatbox ) And generally boots 3 for 2 is just fab! even better buy 2 pressies for people then treat yourself with the free one! hahaha! Edited at 12:43 AM. |

House of Fraser are selling a gorgeous Estee Lauder makeup kit usually priced at £312.00 for £49.00 if you buy any fragrance from the range. My Mum loves Youth Dew so I got a bottle of that for £20.00, a makeup kit for me (from my DH!) and so qualified for free delivery so total spend was £69.00 for my main pressie and my Mums - bargain! X
