Oh no - I can't collect mine until Wednesday as it was '5 days' for click and collect. I ordered first thing (by 7.30 am) on Friday morning and I've had confirmations it's gone through both by text and email to say it will be ready to collect. Did you get this too then? When did you order it and what colour was it? Mine was rose gold.

I really hope this doesn't happen to me as I'll have to buy at full price! Giffgaff are a bit cheaper (£409) as you have to buy a £10 top up at the same time...

Here in Ireland reservations are held for 2 days until close of business on the 2nd day. Is it different in the uk? We can't pay online though, just make a reservation to be paid for in store. If not bought the reservation cancels when the shop closes their system and it's released back on general sale.

Beware Argos click & collect if you haven't paid for the item already as their term & conditions mean you pay the price it is on the day you collect & not when you reserved it:angry:

Their twitter & facebook replies to my complaints were more than dissatisfactory...

Just looking at a 6GB unlimited minutes & texts 24 month deal with Vodafone through Mobiles.co.uk at £24 a month, £55 handset & £35 quidco...not sure if to go for it myself but may help someone else

I had to pay for it when I ordered it (which is unusual as they usually reserve and you pay when you go). It came up with a box saying due to high demand for the item, I would need to pay upfront before collection - fine with me - as long as I get it .

The money has been taken out of the bank now - was pending, but has gone through and I had an email today saying it was on it's way...

Fingers crossed - I'll update when I go on Wednesday. Usually I'd get another text to say it's in the store - so hoping I get that.

I think there's been a lot of people unhappy with Black Friday deals that have been pulled. Did you pay for it upfront?

Final ETA - I've just picked up the mobile from Argos - phew!
