Well I'd seen two small suitcases that my daughter wanted. Last week they had them at £39.99 on buy one get one free. I went to look at their Black Friday sale and they're reduced to £32.99 each but no BOGOF deal. So today they would have cost me £65.98 instead of £39.99. Erm, I think I'll wait until their 'sale' ends!

Although some things are the cheapest they've been all year a lot arnt ...You can easily find most products price histories online and often have been at a lower price in different sales... Black Friday is another extra sale that stores use to shift excess stock ready for Xmas rush and stock they have in for that. I've worked in retail a fair few years so see how it works in different stores... where I work this week have had a Black Friday week ... it's been crazy busy but still nothing like it will be Boxing Day which is still biggest retail day of year.

Went out Christmas shopping, no intention of looking for bargains, knew what I had to get, quite surprised at how quiet the shops were, more staff than anything, obviously expecting it to be busier than it was

THere will be offers which are genuine - for example some Tesco stores were offering TVs at half price and selling them at a loss.

However a lot of these black Friday offers are reductions on prices that have been articially inflated in the first place.

BUT if you have got what you want at the price you want then it worked for you!
