Should I have Christmas Eve off

Well this year I’m in the position to have Christmas Eve off, the first time in 32 years. I’m self employed but this is the first year we are in the financial position to have it off. My problem is my wife will be in work so the list of jobs I would have to do would make dobbie the house elf weep. So should I have the day off, or work a normal day or just one job and skip the jobs my wife wants me to do.

Have the day off, do all the jobs, do them well and as your wife won’t have to do them after work she might have enough energy to give you a Christmas treat as a reward for your hard work!

I mean going to fetch the Christmas Eve takeaway

Be careful telling him to take Christmas Eve off, we don’t know his job, he might be Santa

Have the very well deserved day off but don’t tell the wife. Just chill and enjoy

Well I am having the day off, the trouble I got into with her over my dobbie comment was just comical. So I am having the day off and working harder than if I had just gone out and worked
