Fingers crossed for you, it's nice to have something to look forward to, even if it might not happen
That’s too funny as I wanted to book the Westin Grand Central (might have a different name now) but it was a lot more than Times Sq 😂

We felt very safe in the Doubletree, you go in off Times Square into a kind of large lobby where they check ID/hotel cards before letting you into the lifts. Nice staff and great to have a big for NY suite Agree about the crowds outside though!

I’ve been looking for a while. All the prices I’ve got are more than that per person ! . Was looking for dates very end of October, as wanting to treat my daughters family ( 2 ad 2 children). Last visits for us have been , Feb, July and September and never paid £2k each before

It was a lovely hotel, great location for us, they upgraded us to a corner room with an amazing view of the Chrysler Building, which is my fave in NYC, so it was perfect! We went with Virgin Holidays that time and paid £1800 for the 2 of us 98i.

There are loads of cheap prices at the end of october. The best way to find them, is to go on the BA website, click on flight only, pick the cheap flights (the prices vary so much depending on the time of day), then once you’ve picked the flights, you can click on the ‘add hotel’ button. I’ve just checked prices for the end Oct (25-29) and you can get flights and hotel for £395 each (Hilton midtown) x
