Already rescheduled DCL cruise - what are my options
Well, we are now looking at cancelling our April 2021 honeymoon (4th attempt at a honeymoon, failed!), which means we may have an issue with the cruise.
We had booked for May 2020 and opted into the 125% cruise credit and rebooked for same cruise 2021. What are our options now? Can we rebooked for 2022? Can we get a refund or the original date (I know we wouldn’t get the extra 25%)? Do we lose what we have paid? I can’t seem to find anything on their website for this scenario and I also don’t want to call for something that isn’t urgent when people will be trying to sort out recently cancelled cruises. I would wait, it’s too far out cancelling now in my eyes. You’d get a better deal closer to the time, if they cancel/you’re forced to due to covid.
If you want to cancel now of your own accord, there’s varying degrees of what you would be able to get back, so you would need to call them to get the info specific to your cruise xx

I think with FCC involved only Disney Cruise Line can give you the answer. Don't think there are any cruises cancelled recently. so hopefully wont be to busy. I called last week to book a cruise for Feb 2022 with the FCC we had left from this year. We have also changed from this November to next. I didn't have to wait long to get through.

Yes you can cancel but personally I would try and move to a 2022 cruise. You wont loose what you paid (should be able to get all back minus the 25% bonus for FCC) as Disney will refund a cruise as long as its not past paid in full date which I think for April will be soon. Don't wait for DCL to cancel as its unlikely that by then they wont have actually got some cruises up and running (no sail order was lifted this weekend and so they can't start looking at cruises restarting in the US) and you if you have to cancel because of things then you are likely to be penalised by loosing some or all of your money (DCL do a sliding scale on these things depending on how many days before the cruise you are cancelling - disneycruise.disney.go/c...conditions/UK/). If you think you might sail in 2022 then definitely look to move the credit as that extra 25% might make it more affordable. Cruises for 2022 are only released up to May but if you move to one you can move again if needed so I would do that. You probably need to phone DCL to actually do the move.
