Mobile Really need advice, spd and teeth

Pretty much as the title says and I desperately need help or advice please. My dd is 7 and has sensory processing difficulties. She struggles with everything about losing teeth, she just cannot handle it at all and completely shut down. She has a tooth that is hanging on by a tiny thread, one little teeny pull and it would be out - however, she wont touch it and won't let me near it. She has refused to eat now for almost 2 days, she is drinking but not much. I'm so worried about her, she slept for 12hrs last night and is now back in bed, shes pale with dark circles under ear eyes. I have tried everything I can think of, from favourite foods, drinks, gifts - everything possible to try and convince her and I just dont know what to do anymore 😔

Hi,
Could you give it a tug to pull it out while she’s sleeping? 🤞

How about some vigorous games jumping on the bed, pillow fights, ticking anything that might accidentally on purpose knock it loose x

Hi there I got a idea that might work tell her that you had a call from say her favourite
Character from Disney say that they asked your daughter to help out the only thing they need is one tooth so can she please give them one you can span the story out just a idea.

Thank you but I have tried things like that, it was a teeny tiny letter from the tooth fairy, she just read it and put it away. I think I will have to take her to the dentist tomorrow, her gum looks so sore and uncomfortable im worried shes doing more damage than she or I realise

Just read this, did you get seen by the dentist?

My DS is the same, I fully sympathise, I’m sure I’ve aged a year every time he has lost a tooth - it’s hard for others to understand and exhausting for the child. My DS won’t let me near him but has recently agreed to wiggle it himself each day in front of the mirror but is a few years older than your daughter.

Although it’s the sensation that’s difficult I have found that pain relief helps him to eat. Smoothies are good and our specialist dentist also recommended puréed foods, will your daughter eat soup? I also find that distraction helps at these times and the IPad or a film whilst eating might help. Hopefully you have resolved it now 😘
