Three Sim
Just got my three sim and the packaging says;
“ If you're on Pay As You Go, your Add-on expires 30 days from the date of purchase.” Surely it’s 30 days from activation? ie putting it in the phone and making a call/text ect.

Yeah,it starts once you insert SIM.
What add on have you bought? I bought a 5gb for a month on a simcard for £15 i think I remember, and SIM registered and started when I inserted SIM in my phone , well I think it did.lol Edited at 03:56 PM. |

Hi. As I understand it...
I have a dual sim phone so already have the 123 sim active with a £10 top-up. This does not expire as long as the phone is used once every 6 months to keep the account active. Prior to travel you can purchase an Add-on which gives x amount of calls/text/data to use internet abroad (in 70+ countries)/call uk. It is these add-ons which run for 30 days. Once home and the 30 days expire the SIM reverts to payg.Hopefully someone can confirm this. Cheers |

I believe that if your get the free sim, add credit and buy the addon, then, yes, it's 30 days from activation,
but if you get the sim with the addon preloaded, then it's 30 days from putting the sim into your phone (which automatically activates it) That's my understanding anyway :-)

I am with 3 mobile on a contract with 16gb. As somebody says 3 throttle the Internet to be very slow, can any user say how slow this is or is it just in certain areas of Orlando.

Many people are now commenting that you get a 4g connection now in Orlando, whereas it used to be restricted to 3g.

I'm on three and have just come back. You do get 4G. Because there is wifi everywhere I think I only used around 750Mb of mobile data over 2 weeks. I never ran a speed test so can't say how the speed compares, but never found it an issue.
