Sandra eats every cake she makes, and as a child I guess she didn't learn the basics of sharing.

I reckon the fact she hasn't already replied to this is because she's on her way round to yours to whack you on head with a baking tray or three 😂😂😂

Thank you MH, personally I hate summer and can’t do heat so I am quite happy to think about Christmas!

Been thinking we're counting down to Christmas now we've passed the longest day! Sales seem to be starting, next will be the Back to School clothing before the kids have finished. Wonder when the Christmas threads will be asked for and who's Christmas tree will be up first ... 🎄🎄🤣🤣

Bah humbug to you MH, yes indeedie one of many commercial events that encourages people to buy, buy, buy will soon be on us. Siblings and I don't 'do' these so called commercial events, don't send cards et al., can't be chowed (altho we will chow beans on toast perhaps )... 25th December is nowt bar the day that makes me another year older.

MH. Ahh your thread has been moved. Never mind.

As it's now rambling can you recommend me a new wire stripper please. Mine is broken. It was a Stanley make. Under £20 please.

Hey I share lots of things, I am actually overly generous and drive dh mad, we go to the pub with the dog. I buy a meal that she will eat, yesterday Roast turkey. I had one slice she had the rest. My dd and dh stuffed down their food and ignored her! I would give up my dinner for another and have but then eat biscuits dipped in tea which makes me fat! Sharing makes me fat!

Mr MH I work in retail and as far as I'm concerned Christmas is a swear word

With policies like that I’d vote for you! As long as you can make sure it’s cold weather for the 2nd Christmas too.
