Bringing home fresh caramel corn from Epcot?

Hi Dibbers -

My friend is going in a couple of weeks (not jealous at all honestly ☹️)

Anyhow, I love the fresh caramel corn from Germany Pavilion at Epcot and I'd really like her to bring me a bag back but not sure how it travels... has anyone done this before and is it a scrummy idea?

Thanks in advance Dibbers!

We bought some and didn't eat it all that day. I finished it the next day but it had gone a bit soft. Maybe if she can put it in an air tight container it will be ok?

Oh that's a shame, I'm not sure I could ask her to do that seems a bit inconvenient...

Maybe that was because the bag was open?

I brought some home and it was nice but as Disneyphile said, it had gone soft. It is lovely fresh as sometimes it is still warm and nothing tastes as nice as it does at Disney!

I bought some home that hadn't been opened and it was fine. Think it was over a week after I bought it as well. Obviously not as fresh as the day made and warm but still tasted yummy

We brought 6 bags home with us, as we used up lots of QS credits at Epcot on our last day. It tasted fine at home, but 4 of the bags had burst open in the suitcases - just a rip along the seam- so we made sure we ate those ones sooner.

It was nice to have a taste of Epcot once we were back home.

Ooooo thank you all - you've made me hopeful again!

I might just ask and well, nothing ventured nothing gained! 😊
