Dcl beer mug token

Do you need to order the beer mugs before you board or can you buy these at any bar once onboard?

Can someone also advise on packing the mug at the end, we fly back the same day we leave the ship. Im having a memory issue, can you put glasses in your hand luggage or would i have to get them into our cases?

You can buy the token on board.

The first time, I put mine in my case. The second time, I took the token home - I've used the same token for 4 cruises

Exactly what Mick does too (my DH). Takes the token, cashes it in for a glass, then gets a token at the end of each night and of course, on the last evening.
His token has done a fair few cruises now!

If you're planning on having cocktails, if you're not bothered about the plastic DCL cocktail glasses, ask for it in a normal glass. It's cheaper that way. The branded ones are nice, but they don't travel too well and cannot be washed in very hot water or they crack (and leak). If you really want to take them home, pack a large tuppaware box in your case and pop them in there with your smalls for travelling.

Great excuse!
When you go to Cabanas for lunch (as soon as you board normally), the servers will offer you cocktails in the branded glasses ... they don't have the normal glasses on their trays. You could ask for a normal one but it would be a pain in the bottom for the server to go and get one (unless you tip well!)

You'll see tables set up outside of Cabanas (and other areas) where you can buy the beer mug (and other beverage options).

Or, you can go straight to the bar!

On our Magic cruise they actually came up to us in Cabanas to see if we wanted the beer glass.
