Staying onsite, car or uber?

We'll be staying at CBR next Oct and I keep seeing posts saying how frequent and easy the buses are to use to get around Disney.
We will also be going to Universal for four days and stopping off at malls or Pirate golf before coming back to CBR, plus planning to go to a mall after going to TL.
Would you say definitely get a car or is Uber the way to go?

Uber is so cheap, we used it everywhere this year when staying offsite. Definitely recommend it.

If you flying into Orlando international you can use the magic Express.

You can then hire a car within Disney and you will be taken to the Car Care Center from your resort. So you can hire one for a few days for your off site days. We found this the best way.

I did think of doing that but to go to the parks when they're the quietest we have to do a Disney day, a Universal day, a Disney day etc if you get me

We used to hire a car, but hardly used it. The cost of a taxi was not much more than parking at universal and I believe uber is even cheaper so we haven't bothered the last 2 times. The only thing I miss is the odd spontaneous trip to Walmart. If youre confident driving and enjoy the freedom then go for a car, but personally I wouldn't bother.

We always have a car . Although transport is included all across Disney we don't want to wait for busses. Personally I think when you have a car you can go alot of other places you probably wouldn't without one. Restaurants, shops Ect.
