Crossing i92
How easy is it to drive across I92. For example if you're travelling eastbound and you want to get to a restaurant or store on the other side (north) of the carriageway? Google maps shows a number of left turning lanes, but there don't seem to be give way or yield lines. Do you have to wait for a gap and cross three lanes of traffic? Seems a bit risky.

Yes that's it, but remember there's lots of traffic lights, and they produce gaps in the traffic. However, if you want to you go to the next set of traffic lights and do a u turn when the left filter goes green. Most light allow this but check the overhead gantry for signs

It's extremely easy, no need to worry at all.
Many places you can turn left across the carriageway at traffic lights but also there are regular turning lanes, usually these are set up so you basically do a U-turn so you just go past where you want to go and come back on yourself. |

It isn't as scary as it seems ! Traffic doesn't tend to go as fast as it does here.

If you do intend using a gap in the carriageway just make sure you use the one for your direction and not the one for traffic coming towards you IYKWIM
Difficult to explain but have a look at this The crossing just above the US192 shield is for traffic travelling north west on the picture. The one very soon after it is for traffic travelling south east. This bit of 192 is near the "famous" Sherbeth short cut which I must have driven along at least 500 times and I still prefer going a few hundred yards further and doing a U turn at a traffic light as they usually have a left turn green filter light. Your choice of course but just take care. Out of interest just look at all the traffic waiting to cross into Sherbeth which, 10 years ago, was fairly quiet - but not now Mick

It's very easy as others have suggested but today I observed a SUV attempting to enter a slip road that was no entry to our side !
