One day booking car hire

Im looking to book a car for one day only now to go to Walmarts and shopping. Does the car have to be return that same day or next morning. Also how do you pay for use of gas. Thanks

Never though of hiring for one day but now you mention it, it's a good idea for the reason you mentioned. The only thing putting me off is all the faff for one day.
Sorry to jump on but I'm interested too Sorry I cant help.

Car hire is for 23 hours 59 minutes or pay an extra day. You return it full the same as as the level you received it at.

As we are staying at BWV and the poly the rental is in car care centre or dolphin hotel so no hassle really.

I have a couple of one day rentals booked for the summer. 8am pick up. Going to use to get to a few different places that we cannot reach with Disney transport, have booked with Avis but read they have a tendency to automatically add fuel supplement if you do less than 75miles. Make sure you fill up and keep the receipt to get them to take off this charge when you return the car. Not sure if other companies go the same.

It's a second under a day so I would not get a car on Monday morning and return it Monday evening, I'd stage it at say 10am Monday morning and then keep it Monday night to take a drive around or get out of Orlando and go further afield even, then take it back Tuesday AM about 9-9.30am, something like that...the shopping forum would be a good place to devise a day shopping trip

As we own a banger in SW Fla we rent one day hires from/to MCO. We take the MCO motor around 4.30pm, drop it into Cape Coral, after refuelling and keeping the receipt, the following afternoon around 4pm. We hire online, via Budget UK, using Quidco for cash back.

Thanks all for your advice. Now booking a couple of 1 day hires from the dolphin resort as staying at BWV, can easily refuel at garage at BWV
