FOTL passes

I am thinking of booking a room at universal Loews to take advantage of the FOTL passes. I know to get there really early on the day we stay but do we also get to use the passes on the day we check out?
Also, does anyone know how far it is to walk from this hotel to the parks?

We stayed in Royal Pacific and from my (awful) memory it was around 5 minutes to the gate...Possibly 10. It was a nice little walk though.

Also, we used the fast passes both days of our one night stay...Worth every penny as I remember the lines for most rides were really long, and even with fast passes some of the more popular rides were a 20 minute wait (August)

Just double checked as I was looking at the Sapphire Falls resort and it doesn't look like they do the FOTL passes.😟

The only ones that do the FOTL passes are Hard Rock, Royal Pacific and Portofino Bay. Royal Pacific is maybe 5-10 mins walk and Hard Rock was about 5 if you take the short cut via the car park. Portofino is a little further than Hard Rock so we always used the boat when we stayed there for 1 night in 2015. Your FOTL pass is valid for both days but can't be used on Forbidden Journey or Gringotts ride in the 2 Harry Potter areas.
