Hello. We've stayed couple of times at Vista Cay but are thinking of going to Floridays next year. We booked direct with an owner so got to choose a lakeview condo. Can you do this with Floridays or is it owned by a hotel.

You won't go wrong with Floridays! Lovely resort. When we arrived at reception we were asked if we had any preference of building or view. We asked for building B to be close to the pool and top floor.

You could also email them ahead with your request.

Thanks. So the apartments aren't as individually owned like vista cay? Just trying to get feel for the place. We would go July so doubt we would get a choice

Yes there are individually owned ones too however when we were looking there wasn't many came up on my searches. All apartments are identical in decor unlike vista cay.

Thank you that's helpful. Vista cay apartments vary so much! We love a lakeview so may just go to vista cay again as we know which one to choose!

You wouldn't struggle getting a lake view, they are further away from the pool.

We've already booked with a travel company so will need to see what we can get when we check in the I guess

U won't go wrong with Floridays it's a beautiful resort the rooms are fabulous and so spacious .The pool is great too and lovely pool bar that never got too busy
And a lot more restaurants have opened up nearby in the last few years
And then it's only a five minute drive from the busier end of I Drive
