Rosen Inn closest to Universal?

Got this booked for 4 nights. DW has gone on Trip Advisor and is now having major doubts. Just looking for some views?

We stayed last April, we had no problems, we did request the tower though. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Stayed there twice never any problems clean and tidy nice buffet breakfast.

What would say and would say about any hotel check the room before taking all your stuff.

They do have a new and old building old has the doors facing outside new has doors on the corridor side so would try and get in new side but we stayed in old side last time and was no problem

Thousands more good reports than bad. That's the older end of IDrive, as long as you're not expecting some ritzy and brand new it's no worse than any others up there.

The pool looks area looks quite poor. I know they are very similar hotels but the pool looks area (we plan on a rest day first day from airport) looks better at the Rosen Inn International. Any views? Ps dates no longer available for Rosen Pointe. I've booked this hotel only with Virgin Holidays so would need to amend booking with them and they have no allocation left for Pointe.

We stayed at the Rosen Inn Universal and it is included in our latest vlogs which you can find on the Trip Reports Index (or my signature) and theres some bits about the hotel in there. We went in the pool once, it wasn't the best, it only takes about 10 people for it to feel crowded however the location to walk to Universal was what we wanted it for!

Hope this helps!

Have stayed here 3 times and wouldn't heatitate to go back. As others have said it is a clean no frills place to sleep. Pool isn't fancy but we have never been there when it was crowded, it is clean, loads of towels, the water is cool and wet, not really much else to say!

Stayed here last year and like everyone else had no problems.

Only went in the pool a couple of times. It's not the biggest, but was more than adequate. It was never particularly busy, always plenty of free sun loungers etc.
