contemporary resort?

anyone stayed here recently, opinions? or recommend another Disney resort that was amazing.
ive stayed in animal kingdom and Polynesian before.

We only spent one night there for convenience of walking to/from MK. The rooms are very modern and spacious however that along with proximity to the park were the only wow for us. It just didn't have that resort feel to it in comparison with poly or beach club.

Stopped a couple of years ago for a few nights in a room quite high up overlooking magic kingdom, it was he best final night of any holiday sat on the balcony having a drink and watching the fireworks. We also had a very good meal at California grill

The location
The knowledge it's one of only 2 original resorts

It's just fantastic!

We loved it
Booked again but may cancel to go back to Japan!

Stayed here for 2 weeks in 2015, in the main building with a view of bay lake. Absolutely loved it and would return in a second. We much preferred it to our more recent stay at the Poly

We stayed in the garden wing with a patio lakeside. It was lovely sitting on the patio watching the children play on the sand and it was walking distance to MK which was lovely. And the bay tower does the wishes music and the view there is brilliant and you can watch in without anyone about

We stayed last May in a castle view room. The room and view were great - watching the fireworks from your balcony with piped music in the room is magical...
However the actual hotel felt a bit bland and had lots of foot flow and was noisy. I much prefer the theme and even location of other resorts.

I am glad I've done it as it was one of my bucket list things to do but I wouldn't stay again.

We are DVC members so stay at BLT next door which we much prefer. I always think the Contemporary looks like a multi storey car park.

We had 3 weeks in 2009 garden wing. Absolutely loved it. It was our 1st stay on property and forever will be our favourite. We love everything about it. Mainly because it's 1 original and so iconic. I would possibly say its a marmite hotel. My all time fav
