Mobile Wilderness lodge- things to do?

Hi all,
We are staying at WL for 2 weeks in Oct and having a Disney only trip. We have stayed at AKL before and the kids enjoyed the pool activities and bead activities that the cm ran.
We are planning to spend a few half days at the resort so what sort of activities do they offer?
I know the building work may have stopped some but would love to hear about your experience of WL.
Thanks all. 😀

There has been pool activities in the past when we have stayed there. We have also hired bikes and cycled to Fort Wilderness and hired boats but not sure if you can do either of those at the moment with the works. There is also a lot to do at Fort Wilderness which is just a boat ride away. We have done Archery before. There is also horse riding, cart rides etc but haven't given them a go yet.

Thank you. Looking forward to being able to visit FW as the kids loved it last year.

If you look on here, there's a link to this month's recreation calendar which will give you an idea of what's on offer at the resort: kennythepirate/resort...reation-guide/

It's like we have a mirrored life!. We did AKL in 2014 and going to WL in 2017 Aug/Sept. I fancied the boat rides but not sure now because of Aligators. I know Disney would have sorted this. But wouldn't enjoy the experience now with my 3 yr old

Hi. Akl is lovely and really hoping the kids enjoy WL as much. Be great being close to Mk and hope to get over to FW a couple of time.
Sounds like WDW have taken lots of action on the alligator front. Our youngest will be just 4 when we go and will be very mindful of that near water and the beach areas. Have a lovely holiday. 😊
