You are right about motor sizes being reduced. I think it was an EU regulation maybe?

Come Brexit we can have a Hoover with a 3.00 litre Jaguar engine!

We've got a Vax Pet one where the center part lifts out, makes it lighter for doing the stairs. Had it a few months now and it's the best one we've had, with me with long hair and toe cats it needs to be

vax/vacuum-cleaners...vacuum-cleaner

I've got one of those Gtech ones, I was really sceptical but I love it and it picks up really well (I have a dog so there's hair) it's also really easy to move and take upstairs because it's super lightweight and cordless

I have a £69 Vax Pet hair cylinder from B&M for upstairs, it is unreal how much it picks up, it also has a turbo brush which I swear lifts the carpets.

Its super easy to lift and empty the drum.

I have a Dyson Animal Cylinder for downstairs it cost £338 and I would exchange it for ten Vax's.
Its heavy ( only four years old) and the bin is a nightmare to get off.

Mr Tom,

This has great reviews on Amazon apart from some one stars saying the suction is too strong, making it very difficult to push & pull it across carpet AND wood floors.

Have you or Mrs Tom had any such probs ?

Thanks
