3 or 4 night price difference
Hi, I'm waiting (impatiently) for summer 2017 cruises to be released. I've had a look at this July prices and there's over $1100 price difference between the 3 and 4 night cruises. 3 night was about 2400 and 4 night about 3500.
Is this right? Is a 4 night $1000 more than a 3 night if you book at release? We was planning a 4 night but if that's the difference we would probably do a 3 night as I'm not sure 1 extra night is worth that much. |

We booked our cruise as soon as the prices were released. For us a family of 5, the price difference for the 4 night cruise was just over £800 more. There was no way I could justify the money so we booked the 3 night cruise

Thanks. The cruise we want hasn't yet been released but I thought I would look and get a rough price for the 3 and 4 nights. It is an awful lot of money difference. I'm just worried 3 nights won't feel enough.
Julia, we are a family of 4 |

We found the opposite - the per diem price was slightly (only slightly) less on the four night cruise. I understood (could be totally wrong) it's because the three day cruise is "over a weekend"
This was for cruises in Jan and Feb and booked (very roughly) nine months beforehand.

You will have more choice than we did so probably won't be as much. I'd tracked the prices for the year before and the difference was approximately the same. Again for five of us
I looked towards the end of August as I knew the prices got cheaper then. I took the prices from the Disney Cruise website. 22nd Aug 4C £2,866- 4nts 26th Aug 4C £2,050 - 3nts I would've loved to have gone for 4 nights but it was too much for us, if it'd had been around £400, £500 more we possibly would have. I'm sure we'll still have a good time I booked through a US TA and with the exchange rate at that point it worked out about £100 cheaper. Edited at 08:31 PM. |
