Car rental for a few days only

This will be the first year not hiring car as I dont use much whilst staying at WDW, however wanting to book one for a couple of days to go shopping. Can I book for 2 days, if so is there alot of surcharges. Staying at Boardwalk.

Yes you can, and Ive never paid a surcharge. You'll find Alamo at the Dolphin the most convenient pick up point from the BWV. I think the hours are limited, maybe 10am to 4pm seven days a week.

You can find prices by doing a dummy booking on Alamo Brits.

I only book a car for a few days to go shopping and always pick it up from the Disney Dolphin with Alamo. Great service and no surcharges. Last year I booked a mid size SUV for 3 days and it was around £80 from Alamo Brits. We ended up with a stunning car which I'm sure had been upgraded to a standard SUV as it was a 7 seater and it had Sat Nav and full cream leather interior, it was fab. It was a Dodge Durango.

We've paid anything from about £19 to £23 per 24 hour period, and we book through whoever gives us the best price. That could be Alamo Brits, or us rentacar, holiday autos, or others.
