We go to the car show every time we are in Orlando. DH loves it. Never felt unsafe but as others have said be sensible. Enjoy

It's a long time since I've been to Old Town. I just did a search on youtube and can't believe how different it looks these days, I was pleased to see the General Store still there.

I think we'll cab over and have a look. Is there any kind of taxi area there where we'll be able to get a cab back easily?

My db stayed at Regal Oaks and they felt quite safe walking to and round Old Town to see the car show. We have just stayed at Barefoot'N which is the other side of Old Town and also found it perfectly safe walking around and up and down the 192.

We were there tonight with our 23month old GDs he loved it especially the hot rods and our neighbour who shows his car got friends to let him sit in a few too

Been to a few car cruises at Old Town totally love it and definitely doing the same again this year. Never felt unsafe apart from that main road lol. Something about the place I just keep wanting to go there

Stayed at regal oaks many times and visited old town every time we go never had any issues.
