Mobile Anyone walked to Walmart on Turkey Lake Road?

Hi all,
I always stay on Idrive - this time it's La Quinta Convention Center (just behind Pirates Cove).
I've always taken a taxi to Walmart down on John Young Pkwy. This time I noticed Walmart on Turkey Lake Road - it's only ~20min walk from hotel (Google has it as 30 but always over estimated). Has anyone walked it before? Considering going here night of arrival for a stroll and a few bits and bobs. Thanks!

We walked to walmart when we stayed on idrive, it was just 2adults, bit risky in places as pavements dont seem to go all the way along from what i can remember (we stayed on canada drive). We had a taxi back with shopping! That was some time ago, with ubers so cheap and quick i think i would use uber. X

We started and turned back for that very reason

It’s a nice walk, perfectly safe If you stay on the left hand side of the road the pavement goes all the way - there is pedestrian crossing except for at one slip road.
I always walk up - stop in at whole foods and michaels first then taxi back

Yeah walked it a couple of times, its a decent 30 minute walk from international drive. Stick left would be my advice.

We have done this before normally walk there and get uber back, we have only gone early morning before it gets to hot, if you stick to the left there is a sidewalk all the way, you have to cross a couple of busy intersections but there pedestrian crossings . It’s perfectly safe aslong as you use common sense
