If like me you are on EE's Max Plan it enables you to use 15GB of your monthly data (I get 60GB) whilst in the US. Calls back home are also Free.

I'm thinking about upgrading my old iPhone 6s as the memory is full (it's only a 16GB). I'm wondering if its worth buying a SIM in the US to put in it. I assume I'll need to get it unlocked as its on O2.

Hi there COL,

Which network do you use when in Florida? I also got a three sim cards for use there but was wondering which network is the best in Florida for coverage? We are driving up and back from Miami?

A phone of some sort seems sensible as, to state the obvious, GPS is essential! Some of the roads in and around Orlando are very confusing.

You can normally add one when you collect your car although there are plenty of high quality apps.

Back in the days of 'proper maps', we got hopelessly loss multiple times with roads seeming changing number without any signage etc. We almost missed viewing a shuttle launch after taking a wrong turning crossing from Naples.
