FairFX in Target - anyone else had problems?

Our FairFX card works beautifully everywhere - except Target ! Their machines just won’t take - comes up with ‘contact issuer’ every time. My card, hubby and DS! Anyone else had this? Sorry if it’s been asked before - using mobile data and don’t want to search

despite others saying Fairfx don't allow usage in Target anymore mine is fine when I use it out at the St Pete's target. If I knew how and was able to post a screen shot on here from my Fairfx account I would prove it (I last used it in Dec 17)

Updated to say I have posted a screen shot later in this thread and you can see I used my card at Target

There has been several threads saying Target doesn’t accept FairFX cards at all, because of fraud. hope you manage to find away around it and enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Will have to go to Walmart for our food shopping instead - shame because I prefer target. Will query it with FairFX tho.

We have used it, admittedly in the past, without any problems. Like Golden Corral it just takes a few people chancing their luck crime -wise and it screws it up for everybody.

As others have said, there are some threads around stating that FairFX have just put a blanket block on Target stores, due (apparently) to a large degree of fraud via that chain.

We only went to the Super Target off 192 and didn't even try to use the card (stuck with using cash), because of the warnings I'd seen on the DIBB (so thanks, DIBB!).

I'm sure Fair FX said somewhere they have stopped cards being used in Target bacause of cards being cloned or skimmed etc. It is annoying as we shop there a lot but understand where Fair fx are coming from.

Unfortunately, we've had to impose a block on all transactions at Target on our cards. This has been done for your security and protection because we have had a large amount of fraud come through this merchant and we would not want to put your card at risk. At present, we do not plan to remove this block.
