But it will not be an empty beach. Its almost a community experience. As with most gulf beaches in tourist areas. We loved it. |

Anna Maria Island is lovely, however you're not guaranteed of a sunset. The day we went it clouded over and a storm moved in! Going to Naples for 4 nights so fingers crossed we see one then

We went to Clearwater last time & stayed overnight, we had dinner at the palm pavilion inn, right on the beach, we sat on the covered patio area and after our meal had drinks whilst watching the sunset & the kids messed around on the sand, there's live music playing & the sunset was gorgeous, it was a great evening & going to Clearwater was the highlight of our holiday, it was lovely, don't think we have time to do it again this year

Clearwater was lovely - watched the sunset from several different places. The pier was great, with entertainment, or one of the beach restaurants.
I have loads of amazing sunset photos from Clearwater - can't figure out how to add them though
