Hi all. I believe there is a farmers market in celebration on a Sunday? Is it worth having a look and also what else is there to do in celebration on a Sunday? Thanks

Celebration is a lovely place to chill out. A stroll around the lake or further to take in some of the fabulous houses.
Ice cream at Kilwins is also a must do and as mentioned above lunch in one of the restaurants.

They have some really nice shops - love the icecream place and they have one of the coolest pet shops I’ve ever come across. We got an exclusive Mickey/Disney dog collar for mans best friend left at home while we were on hols. You can hire bikes if you want or as others suggest the walk around the lake is really nice. Also if you do need it they have a really good post office here. We needed to ship a lot of items back to the UK and it was cheaper to post them from here instead of paying for the extra baggage allowance.

If visiting and in your own car be considerate when parking as it is a real town where locals live and it must get frustrating if you have lots of visitors parking anywhere and everywhere. Would definitely find time for a return trip. Nice change from the parks but still very Disney but in a different way.

We went last year and hiring the bikes was one of the holiday highlights. I'm no cyclist but 2 teen boys and DH wanted to do it in 100C heat so off we went and I'm so glad! They gave us a route to follow and we saw some amazing places off the beaten track - fab houses, wildlife, secret little area was really excellent couple of hours. Its so flat it was really no effort and we'd earned that ice cream!

Get an ice cream and eat it sitting on a rocking chair while overlooking the lake...

Fabulous

Just make sure you park facing the right way, they are hotter than AMI for booking people.

Wouldn't go specifically on a Sunday for the farmers market, based on the last two years we've been. Barely any stalls.

But ok for a couple of hours chill away from everything else and for something different.

Very pretty for a wander.

Have a lovely ice cream, sit in a rocking chair by the lake. We spotted a small gator in the lake there on our last visit.

Daughter was in her element - dogs everywhere whilst wandering around the lake and chilling at breakfast time in Starbucks. Not huge amount of shops but they offer something a little different especially the Pet Shop. Some of the houses are beautiful and hiring a bike is a good option for seeing both the nature trails and checking out the side streets. The Farmers Market may vary season to season but when we were there in November 16 it was Ok but nothing special. Great if you like home baking!

Anyone going to Celebration on 14th or 15th April watch out for the Exotic Car Show - but it does get really busy. One for petrolheads and non-petrolheads alike
