Question Bread and butter

Hi all

We eat warburtons blue loaf and Lurpak at home and I wondered if anyone is in the know regarding bread that is most like home and possibly which butter may be most like Lurpak?

Really pathetic I know but I love butter (Lurpak in my house) and do not take any spreads or alternatives - just miss out altogether, and fussy child who struggles with change of bread.

Thanks for any suggestions

no bread is like our bread in the UK. Apart from maybe sourdough I do like that. All the other breads just taste like sugar. Too sweet for me.

You can def get lurpak in publix buy it every time we’re there, bread is normally very sweet in the states, however if you go to the bakery section in publix and Walmart there have there own baked in store brad which is very like breads you can get in the asda and Tesco I store bakery - and as gruff says Chicago Italian bread in publix is good

Thank you! I have never been in a publix before, so will make a special visit for Lurpak and Italian bread.

We always get the Cuban bread as it tastes very similar to the UK bread.

i live in the US and my sister came to visit for Christmas, I asked her to go to ASDA on her way to the airport and pickup a loaf of Warburtons and a couple packets of their crumpets.

For the nearest bread to ours buy "Italian". The everyday bread in Florida has a strange yellow colour to it and its way too sweet.. Butter wise - Land o' Lakes. Really nice butter.
