Opal Sands - book through their own site or 3rd party site?

Hi - we're looking to stay one night at Opal Sands (as I've seen it recommended lost as a good place to enjoy the sunset & views!) when we visit in October. Do people normally book direct with the hotels over there, or through a 3rd party such as Booking.com etc? Not that it seems to be any cheaper with the 3rd party sites, although you can get Quidco/TopCashBack with some of them.

I tend to go direct where the price is the same, it is easier to cancel and get your money back if needs be or if rates drop because of special offers.

A couple of months ago I booked a 1 night stay at Opal Sands for October. I found it marginally cheaper booking direct in $ with my clarity card. I swapped a couple of emails with them before booking and they were nothing but helpful.
