We have both the Halifax Clarity and the Post Office cards. Excellent exchange rates and no fees. You can get quidco on both (£40 when I got Post Office and I think £20 on Halifax) so quite a good saving for new customers.

Halifax clarity for both DW and I although mine always seems to have a balance on it when we return 🤔

We use the Halifax clarity card for card transactions and the Barclays card to withdraw cash from atm’s.

I always use Nationwide credit card for purchases, there are no transaction fees and the exchange rate is usually good. I use their debit card for cash withdrawals. I can keep an eye on what I have spent on the banking app and make sure it’s not been cloned and used elsewhere.

We use the Lloyds Avios reward card; no overseas transaction fees, earns Avios on all spends, earns you an Avios upgrade voucher if you hit the spend target each year & gives you both an Amex & Mastercard credit card.
However, I believe it's now closed to new customers.

How strange; we aren't charged foreign transaction fees on our Lloyds Avios reward cards.
