probably worth doing some research on availability of spares for whatever youre buying
if its a well known brand like DJI, youll be fine |

DO NOT LOOK UNLESS YOU HAVE VERY STRONG WILLPOWER
The DJI Mavic Air looks absolutely awesome. It’s the sort of thing that you wish you’d always had to capture holiday memories. It is unbelievably clever. I’ve had a couple of small drone but they are so difficult to not crash... The Mavic Air has auto take off, clever auto shoot modes, return to home when battery low, return to home when lose signal, minimum height setting, object avoidance I haven’t bought one, but they are sooooo clever... Regards Gary

i brought a phantom 3 professional home in my case a few years ago, wouldn't fit in my case when it was boxed up so had to take it out of its box, wrapped it up well in clothes etc and it was fine, amazing piece of kit

We’re flying out in a few weeks and I’m tempted by the Mavic Air. Seems to sell for $799 vs £759 over here.
Should be stocked in the Apple Store, Best Buy and Target. I might have a look in Costco too, as they have the Mavic Pro on offer in my local warehouse |

My DD's BF has a Mavic Air & I think that's what DH has his eye on. Just wondered if they were cheaper in the US & whether I could get one home ok.

Just check the frequencies used in the USA as they may be different from the UK. And if so, you may not be able to use them in the UK.

according to this thread, they are the same frequencies...
phantompilots/threads/ar...e-as-uk.13416/ (from what i can gather, most (if not all) drones use 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz) |
