Advice please.

We are planning on renewing our vows next year whilst in Florida as it is our silver wedding. There will just be myself, hubby, ds (20) and dd (12). Despite loving the thought of renewing them in Disney I can't justify the cost. I have provisionally booked a renewal at Daytona beach with lora lynne weddings. We have never been to Daytona before as we have always gone down to the gulf coast for the beaches. I have recently heard reports of Daytona being very ran down and similar to a run down seaside resort in this country. This is not quite what I was hoping for as I wanted it to be special. A simple ceremony then somewhere for a nice meal and a nice hotel to stay over at. Hubby really fancied a beach renewal but I am now in panic mode and stressing over everything. Any advice on somewhere nice which would be simple but special to us? I am open to any suggestions at all. Thanks in advance

No specific places to recommend but i think the gulf coast might be more what you are looking for. Nothing wrong with the east coast but think gulf coast is more romantic for something like this.
What about Sanibel/Captiva?

We renewed our vows about a month ago on Cocoa Beach. We used RomanticFloridaBeachWeddings. They were superb and the location was great.

The Rev. Diane was extremely attentive and nothing was to much trouble tailoring the service to our requirements. We never felt rushed and got some great pictures taken by her assistant with my camera (all included in the price).

What about looking at a vow renewal through Just Marry at the Swan and Dolphin resort?
