Booking virgin seats with autistic child

When I last flew with my dd to Orlando they let us sit in the bulk head seats free of charge. I called them up about a month before we went. This was 9 years ago.

Do they still do this?

Would they let you book seats upstairs in the bubble?

Good to know. Do you happen to remember how far ahead you booked these?

We have booked free of charge for our trip in January 2019. In the bubble. DD is autistic. Mine and DD's were free and then the rest of us (DH & 2 DS's) had to be paid for.
