What a day! Comfort economy in the US is a bit of a joke. Delta (?) does, or used to include 1 drink, but United and American only use it for extra leg room and closer to the front of the plane. Now with checked bag fees, there is never enough room for carry ons, and it is always a mess.


I thankfully have never had to use an airport tornado shelter (DFW seems to have tornadoes in the area more than any other airport...). I question if there is really enough room for everyone in the airport, and whether any staff are actually trained to handle such an emergency. (I suspect not.)

Yep, got to say that JetBlue and SouthWest top Delta on the internal flights for us.
We wondered why it was just the ladies toilets and why that would be safer than anywhere else, I guess maybe far enough into the building - it was the first time we had seen those signs .

What a travel day I feel I could sleep for you, I definitely feel you reach the point where everything seems so much slower. Fabulous start to the journey with your new ring and a surprise suite at the hotel.

It was a long day, that wait at Atlanta just tipped us over but going indirect did mean we could afford PE so worth it! It was a good start and end to the day tho with those treats !
