Ooh, I can name all the presidents in order...I taught myself by putting them to the tune of "When Doves Cry". Must teach Poot that, ASAP.

And I've just had a think about your PMs...I could name twenty-two. Ooh, R.C.'s just come in...please hold...HE named forty (showoff) before I asked him to stop.


...and on a less happy note - I think we saw more homeless chaps in Boston than I've ever seen anywhere else in the West. And in the cold like that - ah, it breaks my heart.

Aah, thank you she's such a cutie. Unfortunately the monument is not open during inclement weather. We went back later in the trip as I was very keen to climb it but no luck.

The presidents and pm game was fun but did expose a real lack of knowledge in them (and us, I definitely couldn't match R.C.). Presidents and Prince, put together, very clever! Have you seen the video of Daniel Radcliffe singing the periodic table? It's pretty cool.

It was such a shame about the homelessness. It was so cold there I hope there are lots of shelters so they have somewhere to go at night. We went to Athens in October 2016 and there were a lot of homeless people there and a high proportion had disabilities. It makes me feel incredibly selfish that we have spent a good deal of money on a holiday while some people are struggling to survive.

I have spent a reasonable amount of time this morning reading about PMs. There were far more than I remembered who had repeat terms.
