Do you need to show photo ID to get in with the 14 day tickets? Not sure if I should take passports with me today.

Yeah if you have a voucher you’ll need photo ID. If you have the actual ticket you just register with your finger print when you arrive at universal.

We had a printout from Virgin and needed to show photo ID at the ticket windows when we collected the tickets.
TIP - take photos of the tickets (both sides) on your phone incase they get lost, they're just card so it's worth having extra security for them.

Also, they require actual photo ID (not just photocopies) if you want an alcoholic drink in the parks.
We ordered a couple of beers and the barman wouldn't accept our photocopied passports, but happily accepted our driving licenses.
