Question Free Dining Question

Hi All,

Were thinking of staying at CBR when we go (OKW is out of our price range ), so am thinking of staying with the quick service as it is free but should we upgrade to table as we know what were dealing with?

Thanks

I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'we know what we're dealing with'. Are you saying you've had the ddp before so you know how it works? If that's the case, then you'll be used to using qs credits from that anyway, so you'll just be using 2 per day instead of 1. If you want lots of TS meals, then it's worth upgrading. We prefer to stick with the qsdp and just pay oop for a few TS meals, but the upgrade would cost us £952 which is a lot of money!
Upgrade costs are £17 per night per person aged 10+ and £3 per night per person aged 3-9.

Cheapest? Well free is cheaper than paying to upgrade. . There is no right answer to this, I think you need to work out where you want to eat and take it from there.

Hi, we’ve booked CBR for 14 nights in Aug 2019 (we can’t book OKW until Oct and aren’t confident the villas will be available anyway) and we’ve upgraded to the DDP. I did consider sticking with the QSDP and just paying OOP for 7 table service meals, but when I used a DDP calculator on distripplanner.com to see how much that would cost us, we were about breaking even. So we felt we were definitely better off paying to upgrade to benefit from all 14 table service meals. Eating in the TS restaurants is a big part of the holiday for us though 🙂.
