The last few additions at Universal have been poor. Kong looks good but is rubbish, Jimmy Fallon is ok to watch once and F&F is yet another simulator

I really enjoyed Kong although perhaps not worth the 50+ minute wait even with an express pass. Thought Jimmy Fallon was rubbish though.

I love the kong ride although the express lines last summer were ridiculous! 45 min plus! Not exactly express!
I loved the jimmy fallon ride too, I had never seen him or his show before but loved the ride (attraction, cant really call it a ride lol)
I am looking forward to fast & furious too.
The crowds put us off universal last year, even with express pass we found it such a drag on all the popular rides. It was the first time in years that we did not enjoy universal parks at all.
I am hoping people were flocking there due to volcano bay opening and it will have settled down now 🤗

Kong is okay but it relies heavily on those 3D screens. Fallon was okay too but I feel once is enough and will probably get boring on multiples rides. I’m not particularly looking forward to this either. It feels like Universal aren’t putting as much effort into their newest ride systems and are focussing more on the theming.

Not to devalue this post, but I ought perhaps to mention that our experience was the exact opposite in April - Disney queues were really a bit of a downer, 70 mins for Pirates, 76 for Space Mountain (at park closing), 82 for RnRC, 150 for BTMR (bailed) and 210 for SDMT (also bailed). We did use Express pass at Universal which saved us a few hours, but even Gringotts which doesn't support it was <40 as was Kong, which we rode on a day we didn't purchase a pass.
It's a bit situational - everyone's experiences differ.

I also can confirm, by the email I received, that ≈≈≈ (hmm, interesting acronym) is officially open to the public.
