OKW Room reccommendation
Hi
Any room recommendations for a Deluxe Studio at OKW? Also does the bus stop at the lobby last? |

Yes it does stop at Hospatality House last.
As for the location, we wanted somewhere close to Hospatality House to minimise the walk to the main pool and the QS. We were in block 45 off peninsular road, the location was nice and quiet with a great view over the canal, but it was a bit of a trek to the pool, and even with the car we tended to find that the food had cooled down a lot brining QS food back to the room |

We are staying at OKW right now and in building 27 on peninsular road. I can't really compare it with anything else but its pretty perfect for us. Not far from Hospitality House and right next to the first bus stop. Sure you sit on the bus for 20 mins as it runs through the rest of the resort but first on to get a seat is worth it.

I've done a thread on this with analysis in each area with maps if you can find it. I tried to point out rooms to avoid.

Hi having stayed there 5 times don't get to concerned about location as everywhere is a short walk to HH, 10/12 mins and if you don't fancy that jump on first bus. As for pools the others can be better as often quieter. Turtle pond pool also has food option

We were in building 27 on our first trip to OKW, we loved the location, so close to the bus stop but no bus noise at all. Didn't mind being first on the bus as always got a seat and it was nice on be first off on the way back.
We are back there in 4 weeks, our main preference this time though is a dual entrance bathroom, so need to go for the higher numbers. Can you tell me what building are closed for refurbishment at the moment, and is the turtle pond pool closed now?

Its my last night in OKW (sadface) but still 2 weeks left on my vacation (happyface).
From what I can tell (after an impromptu resort walk) the following buildings are being renovated: 28 (although second glance its still being used, just has some work going on out front.) 45 46 47 48 Also, turtle pond is totally closed for now. Pool and snacks. Edited at 01:59 AM. |

Thank you so much for the reply and enjoy the rest of your holiday.
I had assumed the turtle pond pool would be close because they would be working on the surrounding buildings, but that doesn’t seem to be the case, which seems a little strange. I’m not sure if I should stick with my current request of buildings 53-56, close to south point pool and already refurbished, or try for buildings 62, 63, or 64 to be nearer to HH.
