Mixing DDP with Landry Card

Hi All

I'm planning to order a Landry card for our upcoming trip and using this to 'skip the queue' at T-Rex and possibly Rainforest Cafe at AK.

We have the DDP so would be planning to use credits however we are slightly over at the moment on our adults credits v reservations. So could we pay for the meal part credits and part Landry credit payment (of course acknowledging the payment would be in $25 increments).

So eg. we are a party of 4 - could we use 3 credits and pay for the other meal from the Landry credit?

Thanks in advance

Hi sorry for jumping on your thread. At the risk of sounding stupid , when using the landry card to skip the queues . If there is a big queue do you just walk right in to the front of the queue and show your card? Thanks x

Not stupid at all as i wasn't 100% sure when i first started reading about it.

You would stand in line like anyone else but once you get to the front you mention / show your card and you get the next available table for your party size

I imagine me being very casual about dropping the Landry card into the conversation... It's likely to be me being very awkward with lots of umming and ahhing

When I used my card for the first time, I spoke to a member of staff to ask if there was a separate queue and was told to go straight to the podium and say I had a Landry card. Rather embarrassing but...
Five minutes late our party of nine had a table at 7.30 on a Saturday night. Our waiter said there was sixty tables still in the queue!

We were not able to mix ddp and Landry card credit at t-Rex or yak and yeti last oct. May of just been our server but didn't work for us. Hope you have better luck😊

Oh that's interesting - thanks for you input. Maybe it's hit or miss if the server lets you.

I'll keep that in mind and think of a back up plan

You could always ask for 2 bills, pay one with ddp and one with landry. Can't see how they can argue with this.
