Courthouse & Photographers

Hi everyone,

We’re getting married at Osceola Courthouse next May and we recently had a brief discussion about having a photographer. I did a bit of research today and I’m looking at like $600 for 2 hours maximum. I know it’s their business and their job but that just seems a lot to me 😐

What have people done about photographs with a courthouse wedding?

We had a friend video tape ours, cost nothing. That probably doesn't help you though

I would ask my family to take photos but they’re god awful at even taking a photo on their phone haha!

Which photographers have you looked at?

We had Randy Chapman and his prices were very reasonable. It was $450 for 3 hours.

We had a quote from Jason Angelini for $250 for 90 minutes, so that’s much better then $600 I got quoted

Yeah do some research (his photostyle, reviews, what you get with the package, do you get full rights to the photos etc...) before you commit

Another recommendation for Randy Chapman, he quoted us around $250 for the same amount of time but we paid for extra time...@$400. Got about 700 pics in both colour and black and white all delivered on disc to our hotel ready to bring home with us.
