Just back from an amazing Christmas trip...with pics!

Well, where do I start! Amazing from start to finish! One of the best times we’ve had a DLP out of my 20 visits!
Loved the Christmas season it was our first time visiting at Christmas & it surely won’t be the last!
We picked a fab time to go, really low crowds it only felt very busy when it rained as everyone went indoors for shows or characters!
But 15 mins sometimes for btm & 5 mins single rider for crush & ratatouille! My DD went on crush 3 times in a row! Weather wasn’t great but didn’t not spoil a thing!
Loved the little advent Callander ceremony every morning at 10, we watched The Christmas parade 4 times, the merry stitchmas show is amazing watched it twice, mickeys Christmas big band just wow! Mickey playing drums was a highlight as my kids play drums & it was such a surprise for DD to see Mickey playing them & playing them really well! Such a pro!😉 loved the lighting of the tree & goofys incredible Christmas all not to be missed & the magical music & snow on Main Street, ahhh so lovely. Loved the gingerbread house in the Disneyland hotel so beautifully made & the decorations so pretty.The parks are looking so festive & beautiful, I could go on!
Definitely goning back next year we are hooked!

It’s a must! Let’s hope the same shows are still on, as I’m going back too!

Was one of my favourite trips last week too.
DLP have raised the bar havent they?
P.s..what are ya thoughts of Mickeys and Minnies new faces? I cant get used to them.

Where did you meet Mickey and Minnie? Was Minnie in Art of Animation and Mickey in his house? I love their Christmas outfits (and your dd’s jumper!)

They really have! We went at Halloween & were a bit disappointed as they had cut a lot of stuff because of the 25th anniversary celebrations, so maybe this is why they went all out for Christmas?! Hope they keep those shows for next year as we want to go again, the whole family this time!
I know what you mean about the faces, but until know I had forgotten about the changes! Maybe cos we’ve been there 3 times this year & have got used to them! 😀

Oh you’re in for such a treat!
I didn’t mention Mickey & the Magican, because we’ve seen it quite a few times within the last year, but it’s still amazing! Saw it twice this week too. Another thing I forgot to say it’s a small world the ‘holiday version is really lovely, so don’t forget that!

Minnie & Mickey both meet in the art of animation, Mickey in the morning from 10-1.30 Minnie 1.30-5, we only queued 20 mins for Mickey in the morning, but 50 mins for Minnie, as it was a really wet day on Wednesday so everyone was doing the same thing!
Hope you have a really lovely time too, I look forward to hearing all about it😊

Only just found this now it’s in Trip Reports - I wondered where it had gone!

We will definitely be doing Small World - multiple times every single day if my youngest has anything to do with it!

We’re so looking forward to seeing Mickey and the Magician at last. I can’t believe I didn’t even know about it last year, so I can finally stop kicking myself for missing such a popular show! That, lunch in Chez Remy, and Ratatouille are my only must-dos for our day in the Studios, so we’ll make sure we’re there nice and early to make sure we get seats! (We had to book Inventions for 6pm that day, so can’t watch the Studios show at closing time, but hopefully we’ll get over there to see it another day.)

Getting so excited now!
