Mobile Transporting bridesmaid dresses

When we go to Florida next month, my daughters will be bridesmaids. I know the bride will have an allowance for her dress but we’re on a separate flight, flying with virgin. The dresses can’t be folded so they’d need to go in a dress bag, are we ok to turn up with these at check in or do we need to make arrangements? Will we be able To hang them up on the flight? Thanks!

I think I'd give Virgin a call as technically it's not included and arrangements will need to be made especially if hanging space for multiple dresses is what you are hoping for.

I'm currently looking for a bridesmaid dress and transportability is high on my must list as I really don't want to pay a dress steaming service in Florida.

Yeah I don’t know if they could be hung or if it’s best to buy a box that fits in the hand luggage sizings and tissue paper them up, not sure if that will stop them creasing...

You will have to have it as your hand luggage.
