Medical insurance - cerebral palsey

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help. We are off to Florida with friends in June, their son has cerebral palsey. They have had a quote for travel insurance and it's coming up very expensive just for him. He has no medical conditions. Can anyone recommend a good company to use?

My son has cerebral palsy and never really adds much to the policy. I've just got our annual insurance with legal and general. I've used in the past insure and go, covercloud, and more o can't remember the names of. Tell them to use medical cover comparison on my money supermarket that's all I ever do.

Definitely shop around if he has no other conditions CP shouldn't add much on. We had a family policy and my son having CP only added £25 on I am on long term anxiety medication and that added£50 on.

I’ve just used world first for my travel insurance, although not for the same condition. Might be worth a look as they were reasonably priced. Also boots were quite competitive too.

Hope this is of some help.
