Starting the Halloween party in mid August is crazy, it's at least 6 weeks too early in my opinion. Anything to make money I suppose.

I’m debating whether or not to spend the extra £s to go to MVMCP when we’ve already got Disney park tickets for our holiday. Is it worth the extra money? We’ve never been to an after hours party before so interested in you Dibbers views please.

We feel they’re always worth doing once. Very little in Disney is value for money but it’s a good atmosphere, nice experience and something I was glad I did at the time but wouldn’t shell out to do again.

If you are doing earlier parties and paying less for your tickets then I would be inclined to go more than once but we like to go very close to the actual event date so for example with MNSSHP we went the last party before actual Halloween so tickets are expensive for a family of 4.

Thank you for the insight. We are a family of 3 and the xmas party starts 2 days before the end of the holiday so was thinking it would be a nice way to end the holiday if we did do it.
My little boy is 6 and this will be his first Disney experience. I’m thinking the Xmas experience at Disney will be magical for him. Do they get to meet Santa do you know?

Ah you should do it then, at 6 he’ll love it. I’ve not been to MVMCP yet (we left just before they started last year) so not sure if you can meet Santa or a Mickey Santa but I’m sure another dibber will be along to confirm 😊

Hello - thinking about bolting this onto our last night at Disney 28/8 - any recommendations on the best place to purchase tickets?
Thanks
