Have a look at the first post on this thread which explains a lot. Also, have a look at my qsdp food report as it contains information and photos of everything we ate and how we used our credits, so you can get a good idea of what's available and the flexibility of the plan.
https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho... php?t=1013966 Ask questions about any specifics that you're not sure of after looking at these and we'll help clear things up. Honestly, once you're there and start using it, it become clear very quickly and is easy to use

It’s 2 main plus drink per day (now alcohol is included) plus 2 snacks. Plus resort cup.
Example Breakfast plus bottle of soft drink/coffee (take soft drink to park and use resort mug for coffee or tea. (Ask cashier for tea bag they have a various choice) snack ice cream or drink Snack pretzel or drink Evening meal at HS salmon salad plus drink. When you look at the menus you will see a Mickey icon that denotes either a QSDP meal or snack. One thing for sure is you have plenty of choice and you will not starve. Check out the menus at the top of the Dibb banner, it helps you pan your day and meals. |

Wrong tree!
You get 2 Quick service credits per day. Each credit is for a main meal plus a drink, can be used for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You also get 2 snack credits per day. Each one can be used for various items like pastries, ice creams, sweets etc. You'll get the total amount of credits added to your account at the beginning of your trip and it's up to you how many you use each day. I hit Disney springs on my last day to use up any remaining credits in Goofy's sweet shop and Ghiradelli. 1 quick service meal credit can be exchanged for 3 snacks. |

Your credits are for each nights stay, so 14 nights would be 28 Counter Service Credits and 28 Snack Credits each.
Credits are added to your magic band and you use them as and when you wish. So one day you might use 2 quick service and 2 snacks per person but the next day you might be off site and not use any credits. If you use all your credits before the end of your stay you would have to pay cash but on the other hand credits left over expire at midnight on the day of check out, so you could go to Disney Springs and use them in Ghiradelli's (fabulous chocolate ) or in Goofy's Candy Store.

They don't roll over as such. You have the total amount available from check in. You could use them all on the first day if you wanted!

It is one pot of credits, no daily allowance. You might spend more one day than another. Every time you use it your receipt will tell you how many you have spent and how many you have left.
Have a read of the dining plan linked by Loves2Plan and read her trip report in her signature to see how you can spend them.
