My son's also loved it last time plus it was a different way to spend time exploring magic kingdom.

I did notice that there are cards on eBay starting at 99p so I thought I might get some before our next trip.

Definitely saw a few adults doing it..in fact one lovely lady gave my boys a couple of her spare cards..which made their day x

You’ll find plenty of adults who play without kids. Everyone welcome basically.

We love the game for days when the park is so busy you could just queue all day. Last year we were there in the lead up to Thanksgiving and it went from super quiet to so packed in a matter of a couple days. The day before Thanksgiving was super busy so we started playing and despite all the super long waits for rides, we never had more than one person in front of us at a portal. And we bounced around the park just enough to take us past things we might not always do but we weren’t hot and exhausted either.

We got plenty of cards to play by just stopping in each morning for the freebies. If you’re there for any special days or evening parties, check to see if there is a special card for that too. Those are all free.

We have played it for a good few years now, used to have the " key card " but it is now on your MB ( remember which band )

The game has a serious issue with the camera reading the cards, down in frontierland it is near impossible to get it to read, you are in the sun and the camera just struggles

its a nice game to kill a few hours if the parks are rammed

We've played this with the kids several times. It's a shame the game resets after a while so we've always lost our progress between trips to Florida. If you want to play a particular area (there are 4) just ask at the Firehouse. There's another station behind the Christmas shop which isn't as busy.

The portals are often hidden in plain sight, so unless you are playing the game, you might not even notice them.

Always lots of players around to help, you can buy special card holders/folders if you wish, but they are expensive. We bought a cheaply from Walmart and it's ideal.

There are some local people who are there often who will trade cards for spares. We managed to get the whole base set by swapping spares and they make a great souvenir.

they sell a " leather bound folder " to hold the cards, it is a fair size and comes with a shoulder strap

magicalearscollectibles.c...r_p_14454.html

the downside of it is its massive,

we found these great

ebay/itm/SAS-Prote...0ChC hbvTYgRQ
