Boardwalk area restaurants
We would love to have dinner at the Boardwalk/BC/YC area one evening but we're not sure where.
Do you have any favourites/recommendations? |

Flying Fish, Yachtsman and Trattoria if DDP is important.
BlueZoo, Shulas, Il Mulino if you're on cash. |

Ale and Compass getting fairly good reviews but wasn't open on our last trip. Well - technically it was but called the Captain's Grille.
Although Flying Fish gets some derogatory remarks from people who dined there pre-refurb 2 years ago, I have to say it was one of the best meals we've had in Florida. ESPN is decent for something with no fuss and rarely requires an ADR (except for big game night) if you didn't want to be tied into plans. Cape May Cafe used to be one of our regular go to places but we felt it went off the boil a little and usually skip it now. Booked Yachtsman for the first time this September and I'm hoping for ig things from there with all the great comments and reviews.

My choice would be the YC restaurants - Yachtsman or Ale & Compass, depending on budget. And while not a favourite of mine, Beaches & Cream is very popular and if OOP, pretty cheap by Disney standards.

Yeah I'm very curious about Flying Fish and Yachtsman. We are on the DDP - are they two table service credits?
Oooh nice. Will look out for what you think of Yachtsman. I was definitely interested in Flying Fish as well but as there's a lot of mixed reviews I wasn't sure. Awesome. Thanks. We're on DDP so I think Yachtsman will have to be considered definitely |

Yachtsman is expensive but well worth it - we love it in there!
Flying Fish we were not fussed by but it has been refurbished since we ate in there. ESPN is a lot cheaper than the other two but great food - we are eating in there in the summer. Big River Grill and Brewing works is okay but there are better options for the price.

Beaches & Cream is lovely to eat savoury at as well as ice cream. It’s so small and has a fabulous atmosphere. Real “happy days” vibe.
Flying Fish was my disappointment of last trip. Food not signature standard at all and an overbearing server to boot. Interior is stunning though. ESPN looks quite good. Don’t think it takes ADRs though
